My name is Tina. I joined the Small Animal Surgical Services team in May 2021. When I decided it was time for a career change my love of animals led me towards a career as a veterinary technician. I graduated with an AS degree in veterinary technology. Upon completion of school I began my career as an emergency veterinary technician.

I graduated with an AS degree in veterinary technology. Upon completion of school I began my career as an emergency veterinary technician. I spent 6 years as an emergency veterinary technician. I experienced and learned a lot in those 6 years. One thing I learned about myself is that I enjoy being a part of life changing surgeries. From lifesaving emergency surgeries, to simple spays and neuters to help control the pet population, and now orthopedics and the many other procedures Dr. House performs, I enjoy it all. It is a pleasure to monitor anesthesia during these procedures and to see the patients through their recovery process. When I’m not working, I love to be at a concert or hiking.

I'm a California native, but I've taken to colder climates like Michigan, Ohio, and New Hampshire where I have worked seasons off handling sled dogs. Now that I'm in Maine, I'm glad to be back doing what I love being, so involved in helping pets become as happy and healthy as can be! It's been a joy to see how drastically the surgeries Dr. House performs can improve quality of life for our patients.
In my free time I most enjoy playing music, bluegrass banjo being my most recent obsession. I also love leatherworking, climbing, and trying to persuade people to teach me to fish.
