My name is Tina. I joined the Small Animal Surgical Services team in May 2021. When I decided it was time for a career change my love of animals led me towards a career as a veterinary technician. I graduated with an AS degree in veterinary technology. Upon completion of school I began my career as an emergency veterinary technician.

I graduated with an AS degree in veterinary technology. Upon completion of school I began my career as an emergency veterinary technician. I spent 6 years as an emergency veterinary technician. I experienced and learned a lot in those 6 years. One thing I learned about myself is that I enjoy being a part of life changing surgeries. From lifesaving emergency surgeries, to simple spays and neuters to help control the pet population, and now orthopedics and the many other procedures Dr. House performs, I enjoy it all. It is a pleasure to monitor anesthesia during these procedures and to see the patients through their recovery process. When I’m not working, I love to be at a concert or hiking.

Hey there, My name is Brittney. I joined the Small Animal Surgical Services team in November 2023.Though I am a native Floridian, I've been a Maine transplant since January 2021. I have always loved animals which led me on my current career path. I have been working in veterinary clinics since I was 15, starting as a veterinary assistant and moving up from there. I graduated with an AS in Veterinary technology in December 2017, I passed my VTNE in 2018 to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Upon completion of my degree I continued working for my general practice, until I moved up to Maine and joined a different general practice. Making the jump from general practice to Small Animal Surgical Services is one of the best choices I've made. It allows me to assist in improving patient's quality of life. I thoroughly enjoy learning new information and skills, which is something that Small Animal Surgical Services has provided me with. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my two cats, doing outdoor activities, crafting, and spending time at Disney.
