Tina

My name is Tina. I joined the Small Animal Surgical Services team in May 2021. When I decided it was time for a career change my love of animals led me towards a career as a veterinary technician. I graduated with an AS degree in veterinary technology. Upon completion of school I began my career as an emergency veterinary technician. I spent 6 years as an emergency veterinary technician. I experienced and learned a lot in those 6 years. One thing I learned about myself is that I enjoy being a part of life changing surgeries. From lifesaving emergency surgeries, to simple spays and neuters to help control the pet population, and now orthopedics and the many other procedures Dr. House performs, I enjoy it all. It is a pleasure to monitor anesthesia during these procedures and to see the patients through their recovery process.  I live in Wayne with my husband and two German Shorthaired Pointers, Baxter and Daisy. When I’m not working, I love to be with my dogs hiking, camping, or cuddling on a rainy day. Another outdoor activity I enjoy is gardening. I enjoy storing, preserving, and processing the items we grow.

Bethany

My name is Bethany, I joined the Small Animal Surgical Services team in October of 2021. I started my vet tech career in emergency medicine back in 2009. I have always had a passion for helping animals. I live in Wales with my husband, 3 children and our pets. We have 3 dogs and 4 cats, a full house. There is never a dull moment. When I’m not at work you will find me outside with my family doing various activities. Some of our favorite activities are being out on the boat in the summer, camping, fishing/ice fishing and bowling.
